    Default Feeding Frenzy at Harris

Charles and I spent a couple of hours Saturday a week ago scouting Harris for yesterday's tournament. The cold the past few nights pushed the fish deep, so our scouting did not help. We took about 30-40 screenshots so I can come home and study each one on the computer. Usually I take a combo screen with SI, DI and chart. This way I know where I am at on the lake.

I have taken hundred's of screenshots over the past few years, but never saw anything like the screenshot below. Talk about a feeding frenzy!!!! We didn't do any fishing, so not sure what is doing the feeding below. Best guess is crappie or perch.

That’s great! I think I would have been compelled to drop a jig in that mess

Looking back, would have been nice just to see what kind of fish it was. I've seen bait balls in the Winter with maybe 3 or 4 fish feeding, but never like what was happening when we drove the boat over them.

I saw similar things on my fish finder screen this weekend, but not in Harris. Crappie and perch are what I caught, though nothing is bigger. I am jigging right above the bottom, they don't care about color and jig size.

I must be missing something. What was the outcome of the tournament at Harris? Was it cancelled?

Nice screenshot! Interesting this is in 15 fow and the majority of fish are in about 30 fow this time of year.
