    Default Harris Tomorrow

Got invited to fish Harris in the morning. We probably will have to be off the water by lunch to satisfy the wives honey do lists but we are gonna give it a shot. Looks like its gonna be a little chilly. Anyone else gonna be out there?

Yes Harris seems to be a tough mistress as usual. Fished from before sunrise to 12pm. Water temp 47. Wind picked up quick and made the 27 degree air temp feel pretty cold. Saw what we believed to be a few crappie here and there in deep water but were quickly pushed off the x by wind with zero crappie being caught. We were able to find some 30 to 35 foot water out of the wind and caught 5 good size white perch. 3 on minnows 2 on straight tailed 1/16 jigs.

Fished Harris yesterday, mainly went to play with livescope since it was my first time using it. Needless to say whoever hasn’t used it and says that livescope is cheating needs to use it one time. It’s not as easy as it looks in the videos. Did manage some decent fish including a 1.94. No certain pattern but the bait is everywhere so the fish are scattered from what I saw.
