Harris Lake 20210103
I launched "The Fifth Element" into a similarly calm and foggy Harris Lake as the day before. The without the noise of other outboard engines besides my own, the still and saturated air carried the voices of a couple kayak fishermen over a quarter mile as if they were in the same room. Such serenity reminded me of so many times pulling up to the first fishing spot, 16 miles away from anyone on Lake of the Woods in Ontario. One could hear everything that nature was discussing with herself.
The fishing you ask? Nada. Not a bite. I fished from 8:15am-10am...same pattern as yesterday. Not a single bite. Perhaps they would have picked up later in the day, but I wanted rather be in my garden than to find out.
