    Default Harris Lake 20210102

I launched "The Fifth Element" into a placid, foggy Harris Lake this morning. It took me a little while to get my bearings...idling to a spot that produced last January. I found my first fish and zeroed in on a pattern at 9am. By 2pm, I had caught 30 over 11", none under 10", and seven over 1.75lbs. All fish caught between 21' and 27' deep...While all but one of today's catch were too tight to rocks to be charted by my rudimentary electronics, they were usually flanked closely by schools of inactive crappie suspended over deep water.

Very nicely done Jeremy. I plan to hit it over the next couple of days to see if I can pick up a decent mess.

That's a fine catch sir. I was also at Harris today, but had no luck at all.

Good job Jeremy--thought there were still some nice fish in Harris.
