I launched there by myself Tuesday. I went down and launched at the point, where the other ramp is. I had to load back up by the docks, cause that wind was pounding that point.

Base of ramp at Ebenezer is 2' under water. Docks should be accessible in a couple of days the way they are letting the water out. Water should be down to 222' by tomorrow morning--still 6' high. Some logs still scattered around, so keep an eye open.

New Hope would have been better from the wind.

I know they only open for so long to keep flooding down stream. But how does water back flow?

    B. Everett Jordan* - Cape Fear River Basin

Go to this website and under Real Time Information, click on Today's Daily Report--Jordan. You will see how many gates are open and how much. Right now they are letting a huge amount of water out of Jordan. You can also see the water temperature.

Click on Recent Stage and Flows for the Cape Fear River Basin-- Haw River and Jordan Elevation--you can see the up to minute lake level.
