    Default Gaston 11/6

Fishing was good on Gaston today. Most fish in the 18 to about 25 foot range. Brushpiles are loaded up almost anywhere you find one including main lake rock points holding fish. Bait today was 1/16 jig tipped with 2.5" gulp minnow and jigging spoons. Kept enough crappie for dinner including 5 spotted bass. In case anyone doesn't know there is no limit or size limit on Gaston Spotted bass. DNR wants them reduced or gone from Gaston.

Roy actually this year has been a tough year finding 13 to 14" class fish. The last two years big fish were fairly plentiful but this year I've had to do a lot of moving around to find bigger fish. I love feeling a tug on my line so I can't complain because Gaston definitely has the fish.
