    Default moon phases

I like to fish and will fish almost anytime I can. I know that the Biorhythem and moon phase charts tell a lot about when animals will be active and feed heavy. With the help I have for my mother I can only fish on tues. wed. or thurs. and only one of those days per week. I checked the charts and there is not one good day this whole month. Gues I'll have to tatch the fish on the bad days to fish.

I cant speak for the fish but this past Saturday was a crazy good day in the woods, full moon, high pressure and a cold front all in the same day. But this morning was like you flipped an off switch

Catching a few fish on a tough day is better than no fish on the couch

Yeah Dwight, but those biorhythm charts don't say a word about how much good fishin' does a person (well like you) that has so much on them... who needs to get away, get out and on the water as often as they possibly can.
I said all of that to say: I've done the caregiver thing, so I recommend you err on the side of steppin' away, and gettin' out every single chance you get and goin' fishin'... for nothin' else but to take in some peace and quiet and to clear your mind.

Go when you can! A fishing trip lost is forever gone.

The Freddie rule is no fishing the day before, the day of, and the day after a full moon. Other than those days, go for it.

According to the chart this morning was supposed to be slow, wrong! It was a good morning, charts and phases and moon guides are indicators and cannot be discounted but fish and animals eat and move everyday, don’t stay at the house cause some chart says it’s gonna be slow

I have a neat app on my phone called "Fishing & Hunting Solunar Time" which shows this information in a nice format. While I'll look at this occasionally I just go when I'm able regardless because that's when I can go. Lately that has meant fishing in cold rainy conditions, because that's when I could go

I've done some studying in moon, barometric pressure, PH and wind direction.
There's a good thread here on CDC about barometric pressure( googled to find) basically say that's not much a factor , other than overcast sky's. I've always thought that moon has some factor.
When I lived in Louisiana they swore by PH using color-selector , and fished with those guys in the 80's and caught fish. I'm still studying these affects.

I have always heard that if the cows are standing the fish will bight and if the cows are lying down the fishing would be poor. I have on several occasions check the app on my phone and the good fishing times follow the standing cows. Being scientific minded I have decided to fish in the pond in the middle of the cow pasture.
