Lol, I fished with a fine fella and we used to look for hawks in the trees and I cannot recall a trip where we saw one and didn’t do real well, one day I can vividly remember when we turned in at the gate there was a hawk sitting on the gate, we flat smoked them that day, but there were also days where we did real well and didn’t see a hawk to

I don't own or look at charts,That said fish when I want to.Any day is a good day as long as I don't get too wet.I am not leaving home to fish in the rain,but I have rain suits in the boat.Hunting??? different story but I still don't use a chart,I just go 30 or 40 times a year,sooner or later it will happen.

I'd recommend just living within sight of a farm with cows. It's kind of like having a friend with a nice boat? You get most of the benefit without the maintenance, upkeep, and investment. (I do own a boat).

Those apps and books, written by people who write books about fishing as opposed to just going fishing... Those people telling outdoorsmen when it is or isn't a good day to go fishing? Yeah, that's cute. Imagine getting one of those as a gift and trying to hide the cringe.
You guys are gonna have to stop this thread...... someone's gonna mention getting Garmin to develop a Cowscope to monitor bovine activity in your area!
