    Default My agenda tomorrow?

I'll be at Poe's tomorrow morning about 9:00 . I'm going to double rig 2 rods with 3/16 pink heads on bottom, using monkey milk. 2" shad on bottom an minnow up top. Going to target 2nd point to my left. The one that goes around little island. Tell you all how I see it after 4 yrs. at this time of year. I'm not going to say around haw, around s- curves, around 64 bridge, around beaver Creek, I'm going to tell where I fish! Point blank 👌.2nd point to left goes around small island to your left there in a indention to shore line , there is 2 brush piles rite their , before bank jutts back out , water on those is. At 216 is 12-14 ft. Crappie should hang that close to drop off and hemmed up bait fish in cove imho. I'll find out. Ok when u come around that small island stay back to your right , she'll be shallow around point , but hug inside ( other side of small island) you'll be 4 ft. water coming around point , then 6 ft from bank you'll be 17 ft. Theirs a marker bout there. I fish that up to the cedar trees. Then I move to 2nd creek on left.( standing trees on left played down on rite) go to your left in cove ( my hot spot) in 10 ft.bait , water 12-15.. If it's the rite time as sea dancer said. They should be going gang busters on minnows. Ok leave that creek and go up Haw side. On the left will be 3rd cove 👌, easy way for me to say. Go into cove turn around slowly come out ( their is 2 coves side by side , it's the deep one) come out the point on the left it has lots of fall and undulation. Then if noting I'll go obviously to main point at haw an new hope break.
If not there then over to Morris I thank. Before moving to s-curve. Sorry being long winded

It definitely sounds like you have a "game plan" in mind for sure. I would meet up with you there... but I believe I'm going to give the cold front and rain one more day to settle before I go again.
My brother and I went to Harris yesterday crappie fishing structure off the main lake points 15 - 18fow and could only find about a dozen white perch and a few catfish... still fun though.
Good luck to you. We tightlined minnows, (for about four hours), but the perch seemed more inclined to roadrunners moving a bit faster. I guess it's still a little soon for the deeper water.
We thought (afterward) that we probably should have fished a little shallower cover around wood and brush between 10 and 12ft of water. I'm lookin' forward to gettin' back out soon.

Update , got to Poe's at around 8:30 this morning it was still misty and cool. Then cleared up and lake slick as glass. Crappie are In 8-9.5 feet in 12-10 ft. of water. Fished the island to left couldn't find or mark bait, fished 1st cove on left ( my hot spot) on bait fish. Moved down the haw side to next cove , found some bait stacked but not much, hooked up a few dinks. Moved from there and went to Mason's reef on the new hope side on that shoal. Boom , bait balls and fish below. In 12 ft range. That shoal is holding alot of fish for some reason. Crappies were under bait in 8-9 ft. Caught about 30 . 12-14 inch range . they were stacked on the out side of that shoal , more than inside.
