    Default Frabill Magnum minnow bucket

A while back I bought this 13qt minnow bucket and I really like how solid it is. Its almost like a yeti. But a problem I was having was the aerator eating up batteries every trip, only working on high speed and even not working at all. I was going to buy a replacement pump but they are around $30 and no one seems to have them in stock. I went looking at reviews and it seems that everyone was having the same problem out of the aerator. So I did a little thinking and I came up with this. I used at bubble box that I have had for years and it has never let me down. The batteries last forever in it as well and if it does happen to mess up you can find these everywhere for $8. It bolts up just like the original aerator and you don't have to drill any holes in your bait tank. If anyone is having this trouble this is your solution. If there is enough interest in them I could make some up so let me know.

Nice solution to a common problem! Thanks for posting as it's always a pain to have to replace batteries after one trip on these

Sounds like a viable solution to me. I just bought a 19 quart Engel live bait cooler and have noticed that the 2-speed aerator that comes with it seems a bit sluggish on either speed.
Although I'm going to give it a reasonable field test... I've already prepared myself to make similar mods as you show should it prove unsatisfactory. Thanks for sharing.

My Engel has performed very well for about 5 yrs now. Batteries last a long time. I use an insulated 5 gal bucket.

I use an Igloo orange round water cooler. It is well insulated and my Bubble Box even hangs on the clips made into the lid! Drilled a hole into the upper side for the air tubing.
