    Default Lake Jordan

Gonna leave out tomorrow to head north towards lake Jordan and fish a few days. I’ve never been there before and would like to know how they behave and move there (crappie) and navigating the lake (stumps trees etc) any help would be appreciated

Be sure to get a map of the lake. There are places with many acres of trees left in the water. The lake is up about a foot and a half, so 95% of the trees will be under the water. Wildlife Dept. has done a good job of putting up warning buoys in some of the largest areas. Fishing should be good--we'll be out there this Sat.

Which ramp are you putting in at?? Which area of the lake do you plan to fish??
It might be a bit easier if you could or would narrow it down a bit more.
Welcome to the site by the way.

I plan on putting in around poplar point campground. Would like to fish nearby. But I’ll have a full tank of gas in the boat to search if I have to.

Didn’t get down there today. As a semi retired stay at home dad/home school teacher some times unexpected family responsibilities pop up. Family always comes first. However, most of the time I can fish whenever I want, as long as I don abuse the privilege. I’ll try again tomorrow.
