I put in this morning at new hope. I fished the lower part of the lake and all I found was dinks. It looked like the Haw was backing up through the s turns and making it trashy. I didn't get skunked but no nice fish. The water was full of something small swimming at the surface and just below. One of the schools turned my screen blood red.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I went out this morning and found a few on my graph and picked a few 10-11 inchers out. Not many but a few, how is the night fishing here? I’m thinking about going tomorrow night

From what I’m used to from my home lakes, it was pretty clear

Very rarely, even in hurricanes, does the 64 bridge area get muddy. I think it is an absolutely insane that the Ebenezer ramps are still closed. There is no way that a hand full of fishermen launching their boats are helping spread COVID19.

Last time passing there looked like ramps were good. Doesn't a organization own that ramp.?
