Will one of the NC mods clean up that mess on top of post. I copied and pasted over here and looks like I got a mess Thanks.
Well its in the book for another year. A smaller than normal turnout. But due to weather conditions and everything else going on it was not bad. Had 14 crews come out to brave the weather. 9 from N.C. and 5 from S.C. The fish did cooperate for most folks. Dont know of any boat that was skunked. There were some pretty nice fish caught though. Wish I could have caught some of em. We had a few small rain showers but nothing to get excited over. Rainsuit on then off bout 10 minutes later. Thank You all that came out. You are the folks that make these events fun. We had what I want to call three stages of fisher people out there. The old antiques like Dawgg and maccrappie type. Then several teen age kids. They are the future of this sport. And then had three under 12 kids out. From what I understand these young folks showed out. Big fish of the day was caught by one of the teens. The under 12 gang had to carry the load on their crew to get fish in the boat. Congratulations to you young folks. Now Thank You to the guys that got this rolling. MT Hook, turkeyfoot, maccrappie, BiggDawgg and others. Those that donated food for the meal. Those that donated to help pay for this. Thanks all. I will try to get the numbers correct . No promise.
First place for heavy 5 fish went to : Team Pete. 6.5 lb.
First Place for Heavy Individual fish went to Team Remus : 1lb.10 0z.
If anyone wants to know where they placed just p.m. me and I will send it to you. If I try to get it all on here it will be all screwed up.
Again THANK YOU ALL for being part of the best fishing forum on the net. If you ever want to see what these folks are about just come to one of the events. Never know you may get hooked on fishing .
And by the way this years Clash winner went to ....
.SOUTH CAROLINA squeeked it out by only 2 oz.
I think this is the closest Clash ever.
Final score was :::: S.C. 24.8 LB
N.C. was there with 24.6 lb.
That is getting down to right there.
Congratulations to S.C. and to all the other winners.
There were no losers out there. All you folks are winners . Thanks again ! Till next time.

Was a good event. I was lucky enough to fish with Pete and I had a blast. Learned some on how to longline and had some good conversation. Thanks Pete for a great day!
Here are a few of the ones we caught.

First class event. Lots of stories were told, only some of them true! .
Had the luxery of fishing with superdave as stated above. Fished an area on a hunch and it definitely paid off. Id say about 50+ on the morning. Had a hard time picking which 5 to bring to the scales as they were mostly cookie cutter 1.3-1.5lb fish. Just didnt quite have that 1 really heavyweight!
David definitely had the hottt side of the boat as i played the roll of net man on many big fish. He caught on fast and after an hour or so of steady bites, he had the spread all under control!
Once all said and done, was glad to give away all the fish to those who dont get an opportunity to fish very often.
Nice seeing youall out there and thanks David for keeping me company out there!

Top Dawggs yesterday and glad you two came and joined in after you said you were thinking of coming out. You'll put the smack down on the crappies. Great pictures!

Great time as always. Good to see everyone old friends and new folks. I kept 19 and several of those were around a pound or better. Tough time picking 5!
