    Default NC crankbait pullers

Ok, I've longlined jigs here and there but mostly spider-rig. I have never pulled cranks but purchased a good supply from PICO about the same time the Rona hit. Want to give them a try so my question is do you folks pull cranks on into the fall? I like the idea of covering more water so I'm eager to learn. May give it a whirl tomorrow depending on any expertise I get here.

    Thanks in advance....

I replied to him. For others that may wonder, this is one of my favorite times to pull cranks. The shad are moving back into the creeks and the crappie are right after them. Often scattered so crank baits are the perfect tool. The depth can be a little more difficult to get right this time of the year. Summer just pull as deep as you can.

We caught some earlier in the week out on the main lake pulling cranks. Should be getting good.

Clod, Thought they may be still on main lake or just inside creeks. Love it when they get about half way down creeks. That seems to be when I do my best and get my biggest.

Clash...well in that case it’s wide open on the throttle. Fast as you can go. The faster the better. Use the big motor. Say 150’ line out the back. That should get it done. Hehe
