    Default Belews lake Crappie

Just bought a house 3 minutes from the lake. I havent fished this lake for Crappie but one time and it was at night. We caught a few from 6-8 inches. Is there anyone who crappie fishes this lake in the summer that wouldnt mind giving away a few pointers to get me started in the right direction?

JDM, good luck it's a tough lake....deep and clear....and while I'd echo that the 158 side is good, keep in mind that on weekends after 10am that area is basically jet ski and wake boarding central.

That side is really best in the late fall and early spring. The rip rap points off of either side of the 158 bridge are good, I caught some decent ones there in April or early May.

I live on the lake myself, I've never fished a tougher lake. If you see a 18' red Vhull tracker with walk through windshield and a fat white dude fishing out of it, say hello to me

Thanks for the information. When I see you I'll stop for sure. I'll be in a 1448 alumacraft with a yellow trolling bar in the back.
