    Default Norman Turn Over

I stopped by my Dad's place at Norman this evening. The water had that very dark look to it that it gets when it turns over. Seems a bit early to me. Has anyone else noticed this at Norman or any other lakes?

Cold muddy rain water coming into the lake will make it turn over

I'm no expert but everything I've ever read says the water does not "turn over" until the temperature of the water drops into the low 50's. It happens when the water at the top of the water collum cools quickly and becomes denser than the colder water usually location near the bottom. It's going to be awhile before turnover occurs around here. Sounds like trash and mud washing in from all these storms to me is what your seeing.
