    Default Mounting a transducer


    Just wondering what everybody’s using to glue a transducer under your transom I really don’t want to drill holes in my transom

    I glued a piece of StarBoard to my transom with 3M 5200 marine adhesive and attach the transducers to that.

    Yes, when they say 'permanent' they mean it! 4200 sticks really well but can be removed later.

    The only place I could get the 3M 5200 is from Amazon. I tried auto parts place and Lowe’s and Home Depot nobody had it locally

    WalMart had it the last few times that I've been there. Over with the small selection of boat stuff.

    Not sure where you’re at but ace hardware carries 5200 also
