The Rock was Closed
Rolled down to Flat Swamp this morning about 0700, and the gates were shut. Nothing in the parking area and no signs other than No Swimming.
So, went up to Buddle Creek...ramp was blocked by work crews. Trucks, trailers with materials and a skid steer. It looked like they were installing another floating dock. One truck and trailer were in the parking lot. He must've got there before the crews.
Took this as a sign from God. Came home, unloaded the boat.
Will now have to mow the grass.

Didn't even know there was another entrance until your post. Looked it up on the satellite map. I have always entered through the gate at Pebble Beach.
Still think it was an omen. The grass got cut.
