    Default The Rock

Ran over to the rock for a few hours this morning. Second creek looked great. The closer you come to the main lake the muddier but still not bad. Pulled cranks for a few hours just trying to locate everything. Caught a few. All on main lake in about 24 fow down 15 or 16 feet. Orange and red best colors.

I've been waiting for you to post. I tried jigs in swearing and Abbot creeks yesterday. Caught a few keepers but mainly dinks. By the end of the day I wished I'd had my cranks with me to troll the main lake. May not have done much better but I'm addicted to pulling cranks now lol.

How were your brush piles? The ones I know of had a few fish but mostly dinks. The big slabs have been AWOL for me the last couple times I've been out. I wanted to look around some docks but had 2 ladies with me that don't fish very much and I didn't think they would do very well casting around structure. I would have been tying new rigs all day instead of fishing.

Well, at least the water is warming up after all of the cold fronts and rains we've had this year. Hopefully the fish have been able to finally spawn out and summertime fishing is just around the corner. I've bought a 96 slot crank bait box and am ready to go. The Rock

The big slabs have been AWOL. Go North to Potts Creek, Leonard’s Creek and Cow Pasture. Too shallow for cranks but larger fish up there. Dirty and dingy water keeping them off the brush right now.

Those creeks must be up in the river. I've never been that far up before. Always worried I'd hit a stump from not being familiar with the area.

I can see Potts creek on google Maps. I've heard of cow pasture on here before but can't locate it. Can anyone show me where cow pasture is with maybe a screenshot of a map with a pinpoint of the area or a really good description of it's location. It would be greatly appreciated. I might try to go up further Wednesday if the weather holds up.

This is not a very good map but may help. The bottom sc is shrine club, the next up c is cow pasture, the next up L is Leonard’s, the X at the top is Potts. Your electronics should keep you in the river channel. Lake is full now so really no issues. Watch for floating debris. Name: Adjustments.jpg

You had better know where your going or goofing up there, the only knicks and scratches on my prop are from that area
