Blewett Falls Dam and Shad?
Has anyone heard of what's going on below Blewett Falls dam? I'm a refugee from SC who is looking for a place to fish. Has anyone ever fished the "catwalk" there?

I think there was a series of things that happened that led to the closing of the catwalk. I think they intend to build a new pier a little downstream. Also the flood a year or so ago inundated the power house destroying much of the internal workings so they are having to redo them and no water is going through the powerhouse. All the flow is going over the crest of the dam.

I fished it one time and caught 1 12” shad. Was kinda cool but was kinda crowded trying to fish the current w jigs n float.
