Default Nope not chicken Nope not chicken [emoji41]

Invited my parents over Wednesday night for super, dad is 83 mom 79 both absolutely love fried crappie. When I put the pan of fish on the table with all the fixings my dad said which piece is the crappie and which one is the flounder LOL. I said dad all of it is crappie and a big smile came over his face and he said your lying. My 11 yr old granddaughter finally convinced him it was all crappie I got so tickled. After super was over and my wife was cleaning up he said , can I take some of those leftovers home , I put all the leftover fish in a container and sent them with him. He told my mom that was his meal for the next day and not to mess with them. I had a ball with them that night just tickled me to death.

Nicely done!! Nothing better than a family fish fry. I remember lots from when I was young, course then all I had to do was catch fish and eat. Lil more work now but worth it.

Good stuff. Last three trips I've given all my fish away. It's nice knowing that you're making someone's day just by sharing. When I give someone a few pounds of filleted, skinned fish it brings more joy to me than it does to the recipient.

Nothing like making your parents happy! Glad they are still with you. Those are some big filets and fish! Good work. I give most of my ketch to folks who don't fish or can't anymore and it always gives me such joy to see their faces light up and especially when they tell me later how great it was.

Heck I give em to two of my ex's and they send me pictures of their dinner plates! Gotta spread the love around.
