    Default Black River Perch

Had about an hour and a half one day last week after work, hit the Black River. I'd caught a hanful of yellows out of this hole throughout the years but had never caught a bunch back to back. I'll take it. Hour well spent.

Thanks JL. Mighty fine dinner it was. You get so much meat off of those beauties.

Well done brother. I would agree that it was definitely an hour well invested.
I'd say you need to revisit that spot again without letting too much time go by.

Good job FF, we're going to fish a tournament there in June. Some nice fish in Black River of all species.

I love some coon tails. I've got a mess of perch that need cleaned today, but they are white perch. Still eat good though. Wish coon tails were easier to find around here.

Nice ring perch FF ...brings back memories from the past in MD, only a few spots in NW Florida where they reside. Nice length, you fish'n minnows?

    Thanks
