    Default Jordan?

With all the rain of late, can you Jordan veterans give me an idea of when it will be fishable again? I know it depends in part on how much more rain we get, but when do you think it will be possible to crappie fish again? And also, when will the crappie be in the creeks? I always seem to get there to hear, "Oh, you should have been here last week." Not looking for anyone's big secrets, just some general fishing info. Thanks in advance.

I have fished Jordan a lot this year and live 10 minutes away. With all of the rain lately, I wouldn’t be surprised if it were closed for at least 1-2 weeks. The water looks like chocolate milk right now and all of the ramps are flooded and closed :/

Thanks for the info. I expected that it would be a while before it was fishable again. And it looks like more rain is on the way in the near future.

The lake is currently 9.7 feet above full pool. I imagine after 2-3 more days of rain it will rise another couple feet. If the rain would give us a break for a week or 2 it should fall back to normal. Been tough lately with increased water levels

Understood. Drove over Farrington on Saturday. Didn't look like it would be open any time soon. Need my crappie fix and don't do well on Harris.

Fished Harris about a month ago (for bass) that lake just is not what it used to be. No grass or structure for the fish. There probably wasn't 10 boats on the lake on a sunny Saturday.

We didn't do well all of last year. Didn't talk to many people who did. Our usual spots didn't produce and the new locations we tried weren't much better. I've heard quite a bit of negative chatter about Harris. Hope it somehow turns around.

My son and I tried Harris yesterday with no luck - I'll be the first to admit that I'm not very good at targeting crappie. I'd be interested in knowing if anybody had any luck at Harris yesterday and, if so, what was the technique?

Big Eye Crappieman Tournament there on Saturday. We'll see what's brought to the scales...
