    Default A little river fishing

Went down to the river and did a little cat fishing Saturday. Good day. We caught one 15 lbs, two about 30 lbs, lost one about fourty or so and caught my personal best of just over 50 lbs. Tried crappie on Blewett today but too dang windy.Name: 50F0F8A5-853A-4641-83CC-0B1BF9BC458B.jpg

Very nicely done. It's been a while since I've been catfishing... and your thread post just moved my next trip up to sometime real soon.
I'm sure those brutes were a blast to tangle with in the river current. Thanks for sharing.

They were and the river was rolling after all the rain. Couldn't find any shad in that part of the river so all we had were small bream, but the cats did not seem to mind.
