    Default New Years Eve.

Been some chatter bout a nitestalk Dec. 31. What about meeting at Allison Creek Ramp bout 5:00 p.m. We can fish till whatever time is best for most folks. I have done it several times and usually stay till bout 10:30. Be home in time to see the ball drop. Have done really well .Never see more than 1maybe 2 boats the whole night. So lets get some input and see if we gonna make it happen. Will be our last chance this year for a biggun !

Because some of us wouldn't make it back home before the ball drops.

You won't turn into a pumpkin if you don't make it home before the drop. We are usually asleep by then anyway

What is the difference of the ball dropping in New York at midnight or the minnow dropping in the water on Lake Wylie having a fun outing at midnight?
One is as said! Maybe asleep by the time the ball drops or you will turn over and say to self, I should have went fishing to bring in the New Year RIGHT! Or you can go fishing and have fun, then go home and wish you'd stayed home and not got cold and snuggle up to get warm while saying something like that dang Bigdawgg got me wet! What a way to start out the new year with fish, being wet, cold and petting a Bigdawgg!
