I usually fish once a week because I work out of town and have been crappie fishing since I was four or five but I don’t I would ever use or buy live scope. I agree with the second place finishers of the tournament. I guess being able to see the bait balls, the structure and know the bottom contour is enough.

Go with someone who has a Livescope, it may change your mind or it may not,
It wasn't that long ago people were saying that side and down imanaging was going to ruin fishing.
I beleive people not technology determine the future of fishing. Some have and always will abuse resources.
To each their own, that's what makes America.

Come on up to Kerr sometime and I will be glad to take you out and show you my Livescope and Humminbird setup. Fishing is really good right now.

Wow, that's a one of a kind offer. Would love to see one myself instead of on Youtube
Where is Gaston compared to Kerr ? I have friends that have a lake house up there. Have never freshwater fished north of chowan river

Gaston is the next lake down from Kerr. It has some very nice crappie in it. Good thing is your NC fishing license is good on both these lakes. I live near Clarksville, give me a holler if your ever up this way.
