    Default Norman Nov 5th, 6th

fished sunrise to around 3pm. Caught 1 at the 150 bridge and 1 at a dock a few creeks down. 1st crappie since moving here last month and only took me 100$ in gas. ha. But was excited to at least catch one. A LM bass and channel cat rounded out day one. Fishing live minnows.

Day two 7am-1pm went and got 3 doz and tried my luck in Ramsey Creek. Fished the docks and found no crappie. Not much of anything. Deepest dock was only 15 foot. I did catch a fish that I could not ID. It looked like a bluegill but had a mouth like a crappie. released him and a LM bass 1 pounder. Seems like this lake is full of those. Anyway went to the hot hole for a bit had a hookup but got off. Something small maybe a perch was in 40 fow. No keepers today but it was fun to get out. The wind was tough was fighting it the entire day.

I hope to catch them like that one day! I have a 2D sonar so have to be right on top to locate brush. I mostly fish the bridges and docks but 9,000 docks on Norman I am trying new ones each time I go out. I learn something new each time its fun to be on the water. My boat is on a dock south side of the lake so its a long run to the north end but I try to make a trip once a week up there to explore. That is where I got the two crappie they were not big but glad to catch them. water temp was still low 60's if I remember I look forward to the cooler weather.
