    Default Jordan 10/28

Put in at overlook ramp, it was choppy and windy , first 2 hrs. Ran to 64 bridge then to the right . Long point across from crosswinds marina. Found fish on drop off of point , about 150 yards, from bank, fish were holding tight to drop off in 8.5 - 10 feet of water. I couldn't slip bobber , so tight lined 4 rods. Once you moved say ten feet with boat it was 23 ft. deep. So fish were holding near deep water. Ended up with about 23 keepers ( 2 people in boat) a coulpe of 14" and 13" smallest 11". Gave a guy that was fishing at ramp all day 12 fish.Name: 20191028_175454.jpg

I will be going to Farrington again Sunday if you want to meet up down there. I would offer to take you in my boat but I don’t have rod holders in the back yet as I have been used to fishing by myself.

Wishing him a happy birthday and safe travels for you. I think I am going to try and be fishing by 500 am Sunday.

NC Crappie , I don't use rod holders. I've always straight lined in a bass boat. I won't be able to make it Sunday , have to go pick up 2 boats at Thagard lake in Whispering Pines, haven't fished the lake yet.
We go to customers house , pic up trailers then drive their boat to ramp, load on trailer and pull to our shop. I live between Sanford and Spring Lake on Hwy 87, so farrington is a good drive for me. I sold my boat in 2015 after emergency surgery and ended up with colostomy bag for 7 months. After reconnection surgery , I started back fishing late 2016. I've been fishing with a customer with a '97 Sprint 268 tournament pro with 150 evinrude. He likes going on Mondays. I did buy me a '98 stratos fish an ski with a blown up 115 evinrude, going to rebuild motor this winter. So I'll be able to rock an roll this spring , and can make that 8 mile run to farrington.
