Default Anybody going to try fishing high rock tomorrow before the rain?

Was headed down to Wateree tomorrow, but it looks like the rain is headed up from the south. Looks like it would be a wet morning there so probably heading to High Rock again. I fished last Sunday in the rain all morning. Really would like to avoid it a second weekend in a row. I really don't mind the fishing in the rain, it is the drying everything out when you get home that I hate.

I was planning on it but my mom is in the hospital. Pancreatitis. I fished the main lake a few days ago. Caught a few nice ones on brush but also caught an awful lot of dinks. I think you might do better to head up into one of the big creeks but now that's jmho. I'm surly no great fisherman. Heck I'm not even a good fisherman lol. Anyhow, good luck bud. Hope you find them.

I think they are starting to move back into the creeks a little as well. I marked a lot of fish in second creek last weekend and got a few bites but no hook ups. That usually means perch. The only big crappie I caught were on the main lake but very few. Definitely not there like they were several weeks ago.
