Bad day on High Rock
We started fishing from 10ft and went out to 40. Used jigs and minnows. Caught a bunch of dinks on jigs and had one cat fish on a piece of shrimp.... We fished main lake, creek mouths, and up the creeks a bit. Any advice on other things or places we could have tried? We have only fished the place twice now

I typically fish the Abbott's Creek side of the lake, and it seems they have started to move up off the deeper brush. We caught a few this weekend, but worked hard for them. If the weather will stabilize, hopefully will get better.

Bad today as well. Pulled cranks on main lake between second and crane creek. Pulled in second and crane creek for about 4 hours in the down pours this morning. 4 crappie, 2 perch and one cat. Completely soaked when I loaded up.

Saturday morning we bass fished middle fork of Potts and were catching big 11 plus inch crappie on 3/8 oz war eagle spinnerbaits and square bill cranks on lay downs... the bait is thick in the back as well where the concrete tunnel is the white bass 16 to 18 inches are everywhere in pottsOriginally Posted by Leudy1
