They were only here in Raleigh for a couple years. I was kinda sad when they left as they were only a few minutes from work!

Glad I didn't sign up for that 'membership'.

There's one up here near Hanes Mall. Wonder if they're keeping that one open. Never stopped in there and I drive past it every day. There's an Academy right around the corner.

The one in WS, close to Hanes Mall started their 40% off about 2.5 weeks ago. I went in about 2 weeks ago and things were already getting thin. I picked up some new boat seats, a new fish fryer, some Levi’s, and some other stuff. It may still be worth a stop if you are in the area.

Sept 7th was the beginning of their sale. We were in there a few days ago and while some things are gone they are actually restocking some items. If you are close by definitely worth stopping in.

In another thread need2befishin said the salesperson he spoke with told him Fayetteville and Mooresville were the only ones staying open. I would say check any of them left open for sales.

I did ask about the displays and if they were being sold. I was told they were being sent to other stores. Sure did want one of those kayak stands for myself.

50% off today. Some bargains there but it's pretty well picked over. Got a trolling battery box and some Starbrite deck cleaner.

Not sure how they compete. I live in Fayetteville and we have Dicks, Field and Stream, Academy. and Gander Outdoors all in about a half mile of each other. I don't like any of them.
