I doesn't do it all the time. It works most of the time then it decides to start with the lines. It will have the lines for a period of time then they usually clear up and go away on their own. I thought maybe the transducer was dirty or clogged somehow but it seems to be clean.

I have a 898 and have dealt with this before after a update. I believe you go to advance setting and turn your contrast down or such. Been a while . If it hits me exactly what it was I'll get back to ya.

I have a Striker on the front of my boat and just plain runs like crap half the time. Lines all through it and can’t see side imaging or down imaging very well. My low range on the drivers seat works great all the time. Not sure what it is with the striker.

Does it have those lines in it, when the TM is not going ? Many of the early units had bad RF bleed over.
