Caught these on the main lake today. Seven were caught pulling cranks and five jigging brush. Three are over 13". Probably threw 20 back. The weather was cool. Wow what a relief. To bad it's heating back up this weekend. Name: 20190919_194532.jpg

It was tough out yesterday. Only caught about 10 wit 2 good ones. Son in law lost a monster at the boat. Probably pushing 2 lbs. he was sick. Everyone said it was pretty tough. Thought about trying blewitt falls down in Lilesville this morning. Haven’t fished that lake in a long while.

How does the algae bloom affect the fishing?

I have not seen and issue with it. I have not seen any of the algae where I have been so cannot really say. I can go have a bad day with or without algae. lol.

You can mark it in crane, it appears as the thermocline but it’s been in there since June, and disappears at the mouth and personally the fishing in there hasn t been near what it has been in years past
