    Default Tillery Saturday

Went to Tillery Saturday and pulled jigs. Found plenty of bait both on main lake near 24-27 bridge and in a couple of coves we checked out, but crappie were nowhere to be found. After about 3 hours with nothing decided to try for cats for a while and picked up 4 nice ones in about an hour before we got rained out.

It is a great blue cat lake. Went one time earlier in the season about 7 one morning and in 45 minutes had 4 over 25 lbs in the boat.

Yep, tillery is full of them. Can only keep one over 32 inches. Crazy because it's a nongame fish and not native to the area

Didn't know that. I have never seen any kind of limit like that on a lake that full of catfish.
