Tillery any good for dock shooting this time of year? Been wanting to try it out and it’s the closest lake to me that has docks. Usually fish Harris and Jordan.

I have been trying to find fish under docks like the images that are posted on the web. No luck for me. Don't know if it's the settings on my unit or what but it just ain't happening. Truly wish someone would show me a dock that they know consistently holds fish so I could look under it with my unit each time I go to learn what I'm looking at. So frustrating at times. I don't really care about the fish. I just want to get better with my electronics lol.

We catch a lot off docks earlier. Don’t usually fish them as much now.

Might be why I'm having such a hard time finding them under the docks with my electronics. May not be there. Hmmm. Tillery reportTillery reportTillery reportTillery report

We went Saturday, got there a little later than we wanted, shad were tough to find. Found 2 and started bream fishing for some bait. We ended up with 2 channel cats, and a few keeper bream. We tried to navigate our way up to the dam, but we couldn't figure it out. I did see a guy in a bass boat run through it at about 30mph, I was impressed, but I didn't get to see the path he took. We spent about an hour messing around and not making it up there, came back down the lake and woah, it was crazy. Boats / jet ski's completely ignoring the No wake signs at the bridge, People passing boats ignoring the waterway courtesy, I passed someone in swift island cove that decided to just make a quick left and slow down at the same time. Ended up having to pass them on the right because of that. Those wave boats make it feel like I'm running at the beach, I'd rather be at the beach, at least there is a period between waves. Still better than a day's work though! CW, we will have to get together and fish sometime during the week, when it's not completely crazy.

Looks like it was a nice day on the lake. I mostly fish High Rock but might give Tillery a try one day.

I like fishing Tillery. There seems to be less crappie but the average size seems to be bigger at Tillery.
