I pull Bandit 300's a lot, I have not got a trolling motor yet so still pull with big motor. 1.7 to 2.2 is about what my toon will do according to the wind. I like pulling the deeper creek. Tight Lines

Well, my partner switched up our plans and we ended up at Randleman. White bass was all we caught on the crank baits. They ere thick and fought well, just not crappie.

Still fun to catch. Did the white bass have any size too them? The ones I catch are always small. I've never even bothered looking up the regulations on white bass because they're always small.

Yep, still fun. We had a double a couple of times. They were all around 3/4# and thick enough to fillet. We didn't keep any.

I`ve trolled using jigs and minnows but still new to trolling with cranks. How does one figure out how much line to let out to get to certain depth?

They make trolling charts or do like u did with jigs though it’s a bit more costly but nothing beats trial and error
