A lot of fish there, but we longline and tightline, so brush is our enemy. Nothing worse than having 16 rods out and go through a brushpile.

I don't know of any individual brushpiles, but there are several places where the trees were left standing when they made the lake. They are marked on maps and I found one of them tightlining one year. Several of my hooks are still snagged on those trees. On Falls, if you go up the cove with the marina, I think there are trees left in the water in the upper end. Also, at the boat ramp on Six Forks Road, if you go under the bridge I think they are trees still in the water. Maybe some of the other guys that fish Falls more regular than I do can chime in.
