Fished Harris Monday evening, was thanking God the whole time for the beautiful weather, beautiful fish, and having the time and ability to go fishing. Found a thick pile of crappie on a brush pile and caught 25-30. Nothing huge but lots of fun. Tried a few other spots but they weren't happening.
Also for the first time found adding a fish attractant to my roadrunner jig seemed to make a different. When the bite slowed I started adding attractant and caught more fish, and they got a bit bigger.
Major thermocline at about 12 fow is making it easy to find the fish, they are all pushed into 12 feet or less. Bite was hot, watched a bass fisherman catch some good bass off a point and he watched me catch a mess of crappie, good fishing all around.
Excellent!
Very nice!
