    Default Gaston Monday 6/3

Went out this morning after pulling a 12 hour night shift. Weather was to nice to sleep the day away. Caught several crappie and one spotted bass. I didn't catch anything over 12" which was a little surprising. All my productive spots were rocks on points with steep drops. I checked brushpiles that were good last summer but didn't see anything on them yet. So, rocky points and watermelon colored jigs worked today. Genec was that you out on the lake today? I saw a boat headed into Summit landing that I thought might be yours.

This is my boat Gene. The blue hull is fairly recognizable compared to all the white hull boats on Gaston. It has a motorguide Xi5 on front and 2 millennium spider rig pole holders on back now. I was at the powerline poles when you went by. I didn't catch any crappie off the poles but did hang something there that broke my 4 pound test.
