    Default Almost a bad day

So we went to tillery yesterday morning to do a little striper fishing. The bite was fun but quick no fish after 8:30am. I'm not sure why but I had the darnedest time loading my boat up to leave. When going down the road I noticed that the boat was leaning to one side. I checked the mirrors and the tires looked good so I figured it was loaded a little crooked and I kept on trucking it. When I got home and started to unload everything I stepped on the fender to get in the boat I immediately realized set the fender was sitting a lot lower than it normally is. Upon further investigation I found my leaf spring was broken in half and one side of the axle was sitting on the frame of the trailer. This happened to my cousin a couple years ago and he lost a $15,000 boat. Luckily someone was looking out for me and we made it home without losing anything. So guys check your trailers out before you get to the lake wouldn't want anyone having a bad day.Name: 20190519_163023.jpg

That happen to me going up 85 at 75 mph! the axle came loose on that side and the tire went into the finder! look like my boat was on fire, it was dark,8 pm in dec by myself!luckily where i got stopped there was a northern tool on the side road, i limped over there and change it in the parking lot! i went with a 3000 lb spring, it had 2500 on it, it pulls better and handles better with the 3000 lb springs, too much weight on the 2500 lb springs!

That's what I went to. 5 leaf 3000lb. My cousin wasn't so lucky. His u bolt broke and the axle shifted and it turned into the ditch hit a 15in culvert. That thru the boat in the air and it landed sideways on the trailer and broke it in half then he dragged the boat down the road until he could get stopped.
