    Was planning on fishing Jordan this weekend, but with water up 11' the campground is closed. Now have reservations for Kerr lake. Have never fished this lake before. Anyone willing to share information will be greatly appreciated. Taking my daughter and while I like the challenge of a new lake, I want her to catch fish. DM me if you like, thanks.

    I know Kerr is high and going up so be sure and check with the campground to be sure boat ramp is open

    If you haven't done so already, may want to post the same question on the VA board. Lots of Kerr Lake fishermen there.

    The crappie are probably close to being on the banks or on the banks bluestone and buffalo would be my choices
