    Default Short Harris Trip Report

Put the boat in 03/18 mainly just to run it a bit to make sure it's ready for spring fishing. Only fished two hours with jigs with maybe a nibble but nothing hooked up. Fish still seemed to be in "winter mode" hugging the bottom in 30+ depths. Guess the spring movement hasn't started. Water temp was 58-59 degrees.

Same thing I notice Sunday afternoon. Marked a lot of fish in 25 to 30 ft of water, but not many takers. Did hook up on something good but then hook pulled before i got a look at it. I was long line trolling running jigs from 5 ft to 15 ft deep.
