Default High Rock 2-14 and 2-15

Spent the 14th with my Valentine (the boat) on high rock exploring new water and stocking up for a big cookout on easter weekend. It was a success. From 9am-3pmish i put 222 in the boat keeping only 60.... Then i got home and cleaned up in time for a evening out with my wife...my other Valentine High Rock 2-14 and 2-15 .

Went out yesterday for the morning and kept 24 more larger fish, gave away another 20 to a long lost CDCer i ran into on the water and released too many to count.

Was tons of fun changing it up from the striper fishing ive been used to over the last several months!

Also saw something you dont see often. Some pelicans lounging around.Name: 20190214_145151.jpeg

So, there’s still hope for me . I’ve done the same the last two Saturday’s (otherwise known as the coldest, rainiest, windiest day of the week) and found about 4 keepers.

For those of us who can only go on Saturday, this weather stuff is depressing.

Glad you found’m. If anyone needs to know, I can tell you where they AIN’T

Ha i hear ya. You got to go when you can!

Take it for what its worth: one thing i found right away was if that jig wasnt bumping the bottom, i wasn't getting any bites. Slow it down lots and that may make all the difference. I just dropped it to the bottom, reeled it up one crank and if they were there, it didnt take long at all.
