You guys are making me look like a liar!!! The guy I was with Sat is there now with another friend. They have not caught a fish. They started where we left off Sat and trolled all the way to the flat. I told them to pick up and head toward the Bridge. Have not heard back from them yet.

Buzz - you know you are going to have to break down and try shad fishing this year. You've caught enough white bass in your life to try something new. I'll make you a shaddict. Then come fall you know I'm going to hound you for a whopper drum.

I have never seen so many trailers there as I did today. Didn't seem like many of the people I talked to were catching, but we stayed above the ramp for the most part. Just went out to enjoy a day on the water with the lady. Just longlinned jigs all afternoon. Managed 8 keepers

I made it back out Sat afternoon for about 2 hours. Started in the same place I was last weekend. Kept 10 big fish and probably threw 7 or 8 back. It was slow. Fish were still in 15-18ft of water about 8 ft deep. All on minnows. We had to moving and with the wind in our face. We never caught a fish with the wind at our back.

Ought to be happening by the end of the coming week, once this rain quits and the mud settles out of the water. The Eno is rolling right now, though the peepers are singing, which says it's fixin' to be ON!
