Well we did boat perch , they didn't mention the lake was way up, the we'd find more firewood on the water than in my wood pile. Or that we could have walked to where we fished on the muddy water. Hitb2 logs on the way back, luckily no damage.
Morning started out peachy, I'd hooked up last night liters worked, this morning the running liter didn't work, I had to think fast....what to do go home or push on. I pulled out a couple head lamps, turned on the red lite tied them to the toons and off I went.
Get to the ramp .Get my gear loaded when to put on my cold weather gear no pants going to be a cold run across the lake.
Between Larry and me we boated 3 perch, Larry got 2 and I got 1 on his rod while he was busy messing with my sonar.
All in all not a bad day we all made it home a few lost items

Always fun to meet the faces that got with screen names. Hope everyone had a good day on the water. Thanks to MacCrappie for putting the trip together.
Next time we expect to catch more fish, but then again my s seen name is MTHOOK

Ah hate you had bad luck. Beautiful day today. I was invited to fish with Steve (ProV) and we went to flat swamp. Caught 5-6 each person I think shooting docks. Guys were out pretty good at the swamp. Saw several boats catching a few. Overall a little slow but beats being skunked!

I had a great day with a fine young man, even if he out fished me more than he said.

As Justin Wilson said: “that’s the truest thing you never said before again in your life” or some such.

Well everyone who followed me to Crow creek filled their boat with nice crappie. Several over 2 lbs and when 1 o’clock came 3 SC boats would not leave cause they were still killing the crappie. I posted Thursday where the fish were and told everybody at the morning meeting when they asked. I (we) had a blast in Crow creek. Thanks guys for coming up.
Thanks BigDawgg thanked you for this post
