Looked at a new one earlier at AK Mccullum in Fayetteville same boat and I think it was around $16500.

We bought a 2016 Prowler 165 last Oct (10/17) with a 2017 Mercury 50hp 4-stroke, Minn-Kota Edge 45 and a Helix 5. Trailer is painted or powdercoated. Bought from a dealer in VA and this was a boat he took around to local boat shows. Just checked paperwork and we were at $13,699 OTD and still had to pay NC taxes here once I had title work done. Everything titled as new. He claimed our boat would have been $15699 if he ordered it for us. The reason we bought new is because of the warranty, especially on the motor. Is it possible that the one you are looking at could have the warranties transferred? Outboard repairs scare me....

If you go through with it, they make a great little boat that is economical to operate and maintain.

I paid 15,000 for my 2013 185 pro with 2 Lowrance Elites, Garmin Side View, 24 volt trolling motor 65 lb, and Mercury 115 XP. I would say that the asking price on this one is pretty good. My dad bought a Tracker 16ft panfish model last year with a 4 Stoke 40 Mercury on it and trolling motor and paid close to $14000 out the door

Nice looking boat! I think the warranties go with the motor, do you like your boat? How fast will it go with 2 people in it, if you know. Does yours have a 50 hp on it? Does it take waves well in heavy boat traffic?

We love ours. Granted, there are times we would love to have a bigger boat but this one has some benefits that a larger boat may not. We can run from one end of the lake to the other and back and everywhere in between and never use more than 3 or 4 gallons of gas. Takes very little water to launch it or to run it. Very easy to tow. Our smaller truck is a Nissan Frontier and it pulls it great. Negatives are that being small and aluminum, the wind pushes it around some. We added an Ultrex TM with spot-lock and I-pilot so wind is pretty much a non-issue now. Storage is limited on such a small boat as well but we manage fine. We have a 50hp and with two people, two really small dogs and gear it will run 32. Just me and gear 34. At one time it would run 36 but wouldn't get on plane good so I added a hydra-foil and it took a little top end away. My old boat was a riveted Bass Tracker Pro-17 and this one rides much better. I'd say it handles waves relatively well but you have to pay attention and get the correct angle. For reservoirs it does well but obviously you wouldn't want to use it in big water. It is the perfect size to use around docks and such. I would make the same purchase again....
