Default something different in Alamance - trout

Hit Cedar Rock Park in Alamance yesterday. They stock rainbow trout in the winter. you pay $5 to fish there. Must keep all trout caught (no catch and release) with a limit of 6. I had mine in about 2 hours mid day with a few missed bites. Most folks were soaking power bait dough on bottom so I set up a rod to do that. I was going to cast but I was standing with the wind in my face and I never got motivated to rig a rod to cast a spinner or a jig. I did see one guy catch 2 on a jig but his bites were very far between. Photo to come.

We just dip them in butter and roll in seasoned flour and fry in a pan. The meat will flake right off the bones. We typically don't fillet trout but if you do then you can use tweezers to pull the small bones out before cooking.
