High Rock 11/25
Flat Swamp again, water muddy below Rt 8 Bridge. Caught 24 off brush and docks. Seemed to get better late in the day. Wouldn’t consider on fire but steady. Didn’t keep any but fish looked well fed. BG Key Lime.

Below rt 8 bridge was pretty muddy but not too bad above. I’m thinking they are pulling a lot of water so hope for clearer water in Flat Swamp all the way to the RR bridge. Not sure what the main lake is like now. Saw a report from CW that said main lake looked ok last Sunday. Problem we are having is it appears that the Yadkin valley is saturated so any rain just comes down.

Yep. Main lake was best it has been in a while up towards crane and second creeks and marked lots of fish but not any takers from the striper side. Heard they didn’t weigh in many for the striper tourney as well. If it does not rain all weekend might try live bait for the first time this year.

6 fish caught, 5 weighed in for the entire tourney. I was lucky to have even of caught 1 last Saturday. It was brutal.
Water was cleaner more midlake, but fishable throughout.
