    This was one of a few nice HR fish from last weekend. Tough fishing but managed a few nice’uns ...

    Thanks for sharing your day on HR. It is always great to see signs that a fishery is trending in a stronger and seemingly healthy direction.
    Crappie fisheries are typically cyclical in nature... so we should not be surprised to see some weaker and much stronger years over time.

    I had a great time but the fishing was tough. Wonder how this week/weekend will be with all the water coming down....again.

    Nice Fish! The water today is pretty much muddy with floating sticks, leaves, pine needles, logs, drink cans, bottles, buckets, a basketball and other debris. May be some fishable areas but I haven't seen any.

    Yeah probably gonna be rough go for a bit. Need all this rain to go away so it can settle down. I’m looking forward to giving flat swamp a go my next visit. Should be a pretty weekend.

    Looks like they are pulling a lot of water out but a lot coming in. May be class 2 rapids at the S turn on Flat Swamp. Could be fun in the kayak Superdave.

    Now I am wanting to come back with my kayak ... sounds like long lining conditions!!
