Default Hyco - a day to remember

I have been watching for the crappie to show up at the docks. I found an occasional fish, but not the numbers of fish I was wishing for. Last week changed everything as per the images below. These are phone pics of the sonar, but I think they are quite self explanatory. I fished for 4 hours before calling defeat. I threw everything I had, slow retrieve, fast retrieve, vertical jig. ONE fish....that's it. I guess that is why they call it fishing. We will try again after this hurricane Michael blows through. Oh, well

Yes they have got a small brain but if they don't want to bite cannot make them.

Nice screen shots. I have a couple docks on Gaston that hold fish like that most all summer. Some days I can't catch even one. Best part is if you have enough spots to fish somebody's going to usually bite.

Always loved Hyco. One of my best fishing trips was there. Bud sadly it has been a long time. Maybe not as long as it has been.
